Configure Fabric Attach Assignment Timeout

1. Enter Global Configuration mode:

   enable

   configure terminal

2. Configure the FA assignment time-out in seconds:

   fa assignment-timeout <45–480>

   

   Note

   The assignment time-out must be less than or equal to the discovery time-out.

3. Optional: Configure the default FA assignment time-out value:

   default fa assignment-timeout

Example

Configure the FA assignment time-out:

Switch:1>en
Switch:1#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
Switch:1(config)#fa assignment-timeout 50

Verify the configuration:

Switch:1(config)#show fa
